Resident Civilian
Fractional creative leadership
Creative leadership without the full-time hire.
At some point, a company outgrows the way its brand is being managed. There's an agency on the website, a freelancer on the menus, someone in-house doing social, and nobody deciding how it all fits together.
That’s the job.
How it works
A fixed-fee first phase. Winston gets to know the business, the people and the problems, then comes back with a clear point of view and a plan.
01 / Immersion
A monthly retainer. Regular working sessions, usually every two weeks, and a direct line to Winston in between. Weekly when the work calls for it. Hands-on when it needs to be.
02 / In Residence
Every quarter, we step back: what's working, what's next, and whether the scope still fits. No time sheets. No surprises.
03 / Check-in
Who it’s for
Companies that need creative leadership, but not a full-time creative director.
Leadership teams with designers, agencies or vendors, and no one steering them.
Businesses in a moment of change: growth, a new location, a rebrand, a transition.
What it covers
Brand and creative direction. Priorities. Team and vendor guidance. Systems. Content oversight. And a seat at the leadership table when the brand is on the agenda.
